John H. Milne, JD, LLM

johnJohn received his B.A. degree from Virginia Tech in 1970 and his law degree from the University of Richmond in 1973. He received his Master of Laws in Taxation in 1979 from Georgetown University. Previously, John was a practicing tax attorney and served as the head of the tax section at a major Richmond based national law firm.

John is a member of the Virginia and Tennessee Bar Associations. He is a former member of the Closely-Held Business (Vice-Chairman) and the Employee Benefits Committees of the Tax Section of the American Bar Association and the Corporate Counsel Section of the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association. He has served as Chairman of both the Tax Section of the Virginia State Bar and the Virginia Bar Association.

John joined Northwestern Mutual in 1997 and is the Managing Member of MMB. John is located in the Richmond, VA office.


Peter P Leone, Jr.

peterPeter P Leone, Jr. received a BA in Economics from Columbia University in 1983. He spent one year with the American General Life Insurance Company before signing a contract with the Northwestern Mutual in 1985. In 2003 Peter began a partnership with John Milne. Eventually they formed MMB Milne Leone, LLC.

Peter  currently serves on the Board of Oakland Catholic High School,  and he is the Co-Chair of the Coaching Boys Into Men Initiative of the United Way of Allegheny County.  In addition, Peter serves in a variety of Columbia University Alumni functions,  including as the  President of the Columbia Football Players Club.

Peter is located in the Pittsburgh, PA office.


Bram A. Willets, IV

Bram graduated from Randolph-Macon College in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and Business Economics. He received his Mini MBA from the University of Richmond in 2005.

Previously, Bram managed several treasury management products for a large financial institution in Houston, Texas.

Bram is an Associate Representative and is principally responsible for supervising the Service team, as well as online reporting, and administration.

Bram joined Northwestern Mutual and MMB in 2016 and is located in the Richmond, VA office.


Eric S. Rohnacher, CLU®

Eric-Rohnacher-PhotoEric received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Loyola University in Maryland in 2001.  He was born and raised in Baltimore and has been a resident of Richmond, Virginia since 2005.  Since joining Northwestern Mutual,  Eric has expanded his practice across the United States – serving insurance, investment and financial institution clients in over 15 States.  Prior to his career in the financial services industry, Eric worked in various management roles with three different Fortune 500 companies.

In an effort to best serve his community, Eric spends much of his free time volunteering with charitable organizations.  He has been a member of Rotary International since 2008 and is a Past-President of his local chapter. He also sits on the Board of a local YMCA, co-founded a non-profit to help combat childhood obesity, and is a graduate of a Richmond-based leadership institute.

Eric joined Northwestern Mutual as a Financial Advisor in 2007 and is an MMB Member.  He is located in the Richmond, VA office.


Amanda K. Robinson, CPA

Amanda-Robinson-PhotoAmanda is a Senior Analyst and is responsible for providing client services, plan design and accounting/financing support for nonqualified plans for banks and other financial institutions.

Amanda received a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Randolph-Macon College in 2006 where she was a member of the Beta Beta Beta National Biological Honor Society. She also received a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Accounting from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2009. In January 2012, she became a Certified Public Accountant.

Amanda is a member of the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Financial Managers Society.

Amanda joined Northwestern Mutual and MMB in 2006 as an Associate Representative and is located in the Richmond, VA office.


Collins L. Rohnacher, CPA

Collins received a Bachelor of Business Administration, Accounting from The College of William & Mary 2459589in 2007. She also received a Master of Accounting from The College of William & Mary in 2008. In January 2009, she became a Certified Public Accountant.

Collins is an Analyst and is principally responsible for Compliance and IT functions, as well as supervising online reporting, service and administration.

Collins joined Northwestern Mutual and MMB in 2016 and is located in the Richmond, VA office.


Ryan S. Lesser

Ryan lives in Crozet, Virginia with his wife, Brittany, and their three children, Zachary (7), Grayson (5), and Anyela (3) – goes by “Ella”.  He received his BS in Business Marketing from Grove City College in Pennsylvania where he played Division III men’s soccer.  Ryan joined the financial planning industry in 2009 and today runs his wealth management business and is a Member of MMB Consulting, focused on serving banks across the country regarding their BOLI and Executive Benefit Strategies.

Ryan is on the UVA Children’s Hospital Advisory Board and involved at their local church, Center Church in Charlottesville.  For fun, Ryan loves travelling, cooking, anything to do with food and beverage, anything to do with spending time on the water, and public speaking.  He’s also a duel-citizen and an avid skier, and recently taught his oldest son Zach how to ski.  Ryan did some deep work around Dan Sullivan’s Unique Abilities concept early in 2023 and this is the output:
